Often people talk about the “hustle and bustle” of the holidays and we have that here at River Bend too! In a good way of course! We kicked it all off on November 10th with our “Annual Resident & Family Thanksgiving Dinner.” It is always wonderful to see the building full of friends and family gathered together to share a meal and a good time. Thank you to all our staff and volunteers for your hard work. The event was a huge success.
December is always a busy month with a festive variety of events scheduled. River Bend residents have the opportunity to tour local Christmas light displays. Several area groups are scheduled to entertain us with their musical talents singing Christmas carols. Tori, our Activity Coordinator, is planning a resident Christmas party as well as the New Year’s Eve celebration. There are also many events open to the public in December. Please know we always love having visitors. Our building will be the decked out for the holidays with many trees, lights and décor to get us in the Spirit.
